<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">O?Neal had no problem with Kevin Garnett?s selection Monday as the NBA MVP.

?I?m pretty sure Tim (Duncan) feels the same way,? O?Neal said. ?He?s a two-time MVP winner and I?m pretty sure if you asked every player in the league who their pick was, they?d probably pick Kevin because he deserves it.

?Winning is what I?m about. My concern is winning as many games as possible and getting to the NBA Finals. If I can do that, then next year I can probably concentrate a little bit more on MVP and also getting another championship.?

A second-team All-NBA selection, O?Neal finished third in the balloting. Garnett was a landslide winner with 120 of 123 first-place votes and 1,219 points. O?Neal had two first-place votes and 523 points. Duncan didn?t have a first-place vote but was second with 716 points. The only other player with a first-place vote was Sacramento?s Peja Stojakovic, who was fourth overall.

Rather than being disappointed his player didn?t want win the award, Carlisle said, ?I?m more pleased on a big-picture basis that Jermaine has taken the quantum leap into the upper echelon of players in this league. He?s become known as an MVP candidate and I think it?s going to be something that?s consistent from year to year. It?s a building block. It?s a step. It certainly has to be good motivation for him to keep getting better and I know he will.?

O?Neal got a strong vote of support from Artest. ?I think Jermaine should?ve won because he was the most valuable player to our team,? Artest said. ?The reason we had 61 wins was mainly because of Jermaine.? </div><div align="center">Full Story</div>

<div align="center">I'm glad Jermaine is at least getting recognized as one of the best players in the NBA. Garnett was hands down the best player in the NBA and he deserved the award.</div>

He can get Finals MVP this year, and I believe he will. Yup, I'm that confident of the Pacers and JO.

I see JO winning one in the next 3 years, His numbers are better against the West than they are against hte east. Against the west he averages 22 a game, and the east 19. He is a young stud, and my personal fav. PF
