<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>It didn't matter what commissioner David Stern actually said last night €“ for the record, it was Georgetown's Roy Hibbert instead of O'Neal €“ everyone knew he should have announced O'Neal at that spot and the newly minted Raptor sounds pretty pumped about the trade that will land in him Toronto.

"They have a ton of talent," O'Neal told The Indianapolis Star yesterday, confirming a trade to the Raptors that can't be officially announced until July 9 because of the NBA's complex salary-cap rules.

The deal €“ O'Neal and Australian centre Nathan Jawai, who was the 41st pick in the draft, to Toronto for Hibbert, T.J. Ford, Rasho Nesterovic and Maceo Baston €“ gives the 29-year-old a chance to rekindle a career that's been stalled by injuries in each of the last four seasons, including a 42-game 2007-08 season.</div>

I can't wait for him to put on a Raptors jersey. He'll be a great player for us, all injuries aside. And, I'll try and find when the press conference will be.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The worst-kept secret(s) in Toronto should finally become official tomorrow when the Raptors will reportedly introduce Jermaine O'Neal - and re-introduce Jose Calderon - to the media and fans.

The Raptors issued a press release stating that two "major announcements" would go down on Wednesday. One press conference is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., the other for 3:30 p.m.</div>
