I went to the open practice and ill be glad to tell you guys how it went.

Well all the rockets did was a scrimmage for 20mins.

If I could remember the starters where:

    Silver Team

    Yao
    Juwon
    Jackson
    T-Mac
    Ward

    V.S.

    Black Team

    Mutombo
    Padgett
    Nachbar
    Gaines
    Zimmerman

The game was ok cuz it was just a practice. Yao did ok getting some easy shots under the basket but he got blocked by Mutombo 2 times i think. Mutombo had like 4 blocks. Nachbar did good getting an easy dunk and a 3. Juwon Howard looked good getting to the line twice. There was only one real highlight in the game and that was an alley-oop from Ward to none other than TMac.

TMac looked happy there pointing to some of the fans taking pictures. And at the end of the game took off his shoes and threw em into the stands. I think he might of signed em to.

It was a pretty good preview. Everyone looked good but then again it was only 20mins. Oh yea and I was looking at Yao and it seems his legs got bigger.

So at the end of the game Bowen, Mo Taylor and T-Mac signed autographs. Scott Padgett and Tyrone Lue talked to the fans and shook their hands as they shot a freethrow. Juwon and Yao answered questions from the fans and reece gaines took pictures with the fans.

Some notes from the Yao Juwon questions:

-Yaos Favorite restuarant is Taste of Texas
-I think Yao said he likes Ferraris
-Juwons 2nd favorite sport is baseball
-And Juwons favorite movie is Scarface

Thats all I can remember, Hope it was enough

Very Cool. I wish I lived in Houston. lol, let me rephrase. I wish I lived in USA. Here in Australia, basketball isn't all that popular. The NBL (National Basketball League here in Aus) doesn't attract much attention. If I could live in Houston and see my favourite team live at every home game, I would be so happy.

I was surprised that the teams in the scrimage were so uneven. They put Houston's probable starting 5 for this season against the bench. But I'm sure it was very entertaining. The alley, Ward to T-mac, would've been nice to watch.

I really wish I could have made the practice today, unfortunately the UT/OU game took precedence over the Rockets practice.

Considering how bad the game was though, I wish I would have gone to the open practice.
