With Boozer and Stoudermire to the East has the window opened quite a bit for LMA to make the all star team?

I think many of us agree that he has the talent to do it. It just comes down to the drive and desire to get it done.

But my point is more about, with who is still in the west for PF's does LMA have a shot?

I do think D.Lee on the Warriors has a chance to put up huge numbers.

I fucking HATE seeing guys default into the all-star game because there's a dearth of talent at a position (see Mo Williams last year). LMA backing into a spot without really improving to the point where he deserves it doesn't excite me at all.

Pau Gasol is still the best PF in the league. And if Tim Duncan is healthy, he's still second-best. What is Al Jefferson officially? C or PF?
Lee might put up big numbers, but the Warriors will suck so much that that will count against him.
LaMarcus has to prove he's significantly better than people like Luis Scola and DeMarcus Cousins.

If LaMarcus steps his game up, puts up 20 & 10, and stops settling for so many outside jumpers there is no reason to think he shouldnt be an All Star. Make it happen LaMarcus!!!! Make us proud!

I assume we'll have reasonable health this year. What hurt us so much last year was that this team didn't get into a groove all freaking season. We were either adjusting to new players, trying to figure out to play without other players, integrating reserves in the starting lineup, changing lineups due to injuries, etc. No one ever got comfortable.

I think this year is going to look a lot like 2008-09. I think we're going to be really solid all year long, without a lot of ups and downs, getting better by the month. I think once Roy, LMA and Oden really figure out how to work together, each one is going to be more effective.

I think we're going to see an uptick in Aldridge's game this year. Worthy of an All Star bid? That remains to be seen.

Probably not. I think Oden has a much better chance due to position and relative offensive focus. Here comes the famous quote "if healthy" Oden should be the 2nd option until he's ready to be the first in a couple of years. If Oden or Roy got hurt LMA might have a shot, but then who would give a shit at that point?

I used to think this was true but three years of him not getting any better has convinced me otherwise.

LaMarcus is what he is and probably won't get much better.

Besides, doesn't anyone remember how shitty he was playing when Oden was healthy? If Oden is healthy all of the next year I think LA's numbers are going to take a big hit.

Did Boozer make it last year? Looks like LMA chances are the same as last year since Lee will probably make it, unless he gets slotted into the C position. Also can't forget about Blake G he might put up large numbers with the Clips. Dirk already has 1 spot.
