http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/basketbal...es/wizards.html It's a good writeup, he got a few things wrong like about Etan's rebounding decreasing last season, it actually decreased in 04-05 if you're considering his MPG. Also Etan isn't that good an offensive rebounder, Haywood is the better on there. Also he is right about the teams off-season moves in terms of fixing the defense. Deshawn is decent, he won't really help you, but he won't hurt you in limited minutes. He's not really a "good" or close to great defender, but he's an effort defender, so it's okay. I think Etan returning should help the rebounding though, and Jarvis brings a capable 15 PPG scorer off the bench. The main difference will be the fact that EJ is changing the defensive gameplan and approach. What he does ignore is that while the team was very good offensively last season, the bench was terrible on offense. Deshawn matches Jeffries offensive production, healthy Jarvis alone improves the bench offense, and when Songaila returns this already good offensive team is even better. He also mentioned something that most fans of other teams don't know when they watch the Wizards defense, which is that the Wizards run a MASSIVE amount of defensive sets. Most opposing fans just think the Wizards like to blow assignments and suck, but what is really happening is that they run MANY sets to try and confuse the opponents. There has been word that it will change this year, and it could help the team a lot defensively, but we'll see.
