<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">One problem that plagued the Wizards throughout their 1-4 road trip was defensive rebounding. In Monday's loss at Utah, Carlos Boozer scored 10 of his career-high 41 points on tip-ins or offensive rebounds and the Jazz held a 20-9 advantage in second-chance points. Whether the result of not boxing out, failing to secure the ball or getting out of position to cover for a perimeter player who was beaten off the dribble, the Wizards did not give themselves a chance to finish games because they too often allowed opponents to keep possessions alive with offensive rebounds. While talking about rebounding with his team on Monday, Coach Eddie Jordan referenced the Georgetown Hoyas and the way they dominated the glass down the stretch of their comeback victory over North Carolina in Sunday's NCAA region final. "We've emphasized it but it really comes down to guys just doing it," Jordan said. "Guys that do it, don't need practice and don't need it to be emphasized. I brought up the Georgetown game. North Carolina misses 22 or 23 shots and Georgetown got every rebound. They've got guys that do it, and it was crucial to their success. We have to bring that same attitude to it." Getting Caron Butler back into the lineup after playing without the all-star forward for six games should help. Butler is the team's third-leading rebounder (7.5 per game) and has never been shy about mixing it up at crunch time.</div> Link What's funny about the game against Utah on Monday, that we had the advantage in the rebounding game in the first half outrebounding them 21-20...so I'm guessing it was ok for Eddie Jordan to sit Brendan Haywood the entire second half once again. Carlos Boozer erupted in the second half grabbing countless put back rebounds and I believed he had 21 points in that quarter.

The Wizards down majority of the game until the second half came and Michael Ruffin did a great job covering Bosh and forcing missed shots. You can't blame Ruffin for that last play because there were countless of plays on defense the Wizards missed that led it to easy layups and 3-pointers.
I'm sorry Wizards fans but that play was absolutely hilarious. I could not stop laughing, your up 3 and you think you've won it and bam your going to overtime. You can't blame the loss on Ruffin but I'm sure he feels pretty bad. Please don't let Miami have the 3rd seed.

It's a tennis unforced error to the max. But it's okay really, it's just NOT POSSIBLE
