After watching the magic play their last two games you couldnt tell it was the same team from last month. All the players have had time to understand the system and play as a team. Not to mention the crowds at the game are once again a magic crowd not the opposing teams crowd. You have to give credit to Brian Hill for his work on developing the second unit, they are playing damn good ball, at times I didnt even want to see our starters on the court. Bo, Arroyo, Darko and Dooling are playing like a real second unit. It was fun to watch, I was at the golden state game and the crowd gets so excited when the second unit comes in. We are def moving in the right direction.
What we have witnessed in these last two games against the Cavs and Warriors is a determined young team who are beginning to form some chemistry. I am very proud of what we have been able to do and as each game goes on, I continue to think that our future looks brighter and brighter. Darko has shocked many people, Dwight has been consistently performing at a high level, Jameer has been amazing since returning, Bo Outlaw has been showing tremendous veteren leadership off the bench and Hedo Turkoglu/Carlos Arroyo have shown us their scoring mentality. Like you said, we are definently moving in the right direction and it feels great to not be ashamed to be a Magic fan.
Hopefully they can keep it up on the road, its been our major weakness. With the cap space we have this will sure to be a team that players will want to come to cuz of the money but also cuz of the direction of the franchise. I hoping good things happen. Ill be at the game on wednesday, lets hope the winning streak continues.
