<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Celtics try to keep the current six-game home winning streak against the Magic alive, but will have to bounce back from their own two-game losing streak to do so, after losing to Chicago and Detroit over the weekend. In their favor, Boston has posted a 10-6 record at home this season, going 7-2 in their last nine home games and 5-1 in their last six. The Celtics will need their big-three of Paul Pierce, Gary Payton, and Ricky Davis to provide quality minutes to keep up with Orlando?s impressive offensive numbers, and they have the potential to do just that. Pierce comes into the game among the NBA leaders, ranking 16th in the league with 21.6 points per game. Payton has been stepping up his play as of late, shooting 50.7 percent from the field and 40.0 percent from behind the arc in his last 14 games. Lastly, Davis ranks second in the league behind only Jerry Stackhouse for points per game among players who have come off the bench in half their teams? games or more, posting 14.1 points per contest.

The Magic begin their third longest road trip of the season tonight at Boston, in the first of a four-game stretch over the next six days. The Magic must improve on their performances on the road this season, as they have scored an average of six less points per game in each road contest compared to each home game (98.8 ppg compared to 104.8 ppg), while also allowing almost five more points per game to the opposition on the road (103.3 ppg compared to 98.5 ppg). The Magic hold a 6-10 record on the road, compared to 12-4 at home. To improve those numbers, they must do a better job of containing Celtics star Paul Pierce, who scored 24 in the last meeting of these teams, and also keep the Celtics role players in check. Marcus Banks posted a season-high 20 points after coming into the game averaging 2.9 points per game, and Al Jefferson went for a career-high 16 against the Magic earlier this season.</div>

The way its going this game I really hope that Davis gets the sack tommoz morning cos that first half was a total joke, and considering how good hte players we have the only person to blame is the coach.

16pts down 5mins in? Errr OK, be understandable, but not forgivable against a team like suns, or say spurs or sonics, oh wait we beat 2 of those 3. So why do we get battered by celtics, they cant even manage a 50% record.

I'd love to like davis, cos i hate disliking staff of my team, but seriously, this is getting beyond funny.

is that who we are trading for.

Looks like buisness as usual is resumed - retarded trades @ orlando a go go.

thats trading a 15ppg and 7yr vet player for a 7ppg and 12yr vet. CLEVER.

This better work wiesbrod or i will be so pissed off. We have just lost 10pts off our offense, and by averages that brings to 10pts less than what we let the oposition score. Just hope that christies defense makes up for it.

So shall we add to the list, notable mentions = Penny, Wallace and letting shaq go.

Stupidest Magic trade of all time is during our rebuilding year, we traded Bo Outlaw and a 1st rounder(Suns drafted Amare Stoudemire with that pick) for Jud Buchler. Yes, Jud Buechler. Another bad trade was Drew Gooden and Anderson Vareajo for Tony Battie. Also Matt Harpring for Andrew Declerq. The list goes on and on. Corey Maggette for salary cap room.

First I saw that we lost against the Celtics, than I clicked the box score only to find out that Augmon was in the starting line up and I was thinking, wth does Augmon in there? Only to discover that behind Mobley is a Traded DNP.

And you know what really p... me off? This:

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Magic General Manager John Weisbrod called Coach Johnny Davis shortly before the game and told him not to play Mobley because a deal was in the works. Veteran Stacey Augmon started at Mobley's shooting guard spot.</div>

    Full Article: http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/bask...-home-headlines

How can you do something like this just shortly before a game? I'm gonna start hating this Weisbrod guy. Only good thing he did so far is the T-Mac trade and pick Dwight in the draft.

(Sorry for the bad language in here...)
