It will be up on December 20th. I saw it being advertised during the game yesterday. This should be pretty interesting as to what the changes will be. I sure hope it's good, because I don't really like the current one.

To be honest its really not hard to design a decent web page, and I never understand with the ammount of hits that NBA.com gets + the money they get off all the things they sell why they dont just kit all the teams out with reallly nice sites to attract more people to read them. Hopefully it will nice and easy to follow, because sometimes I find it hard to locate older stuff from the site.

Wonder is they are stingy and didnt want to pay much or the problem of the webmaster...the currently homepage is just a amatuer standard as I'm majoring multi-media/IT in uni, I can say lots of my school projects are better than this o yeah, i get lost easily as well...
That's about time. Many of the other teams have already advanced and have much better sites, however I'm still missing a lot of things in general on their webpages and more quality content as well.
Anyone check it out yet? It doesn't look too bad, the only problem is that it is very slow on my browser.
Definately a better one compare to the old one. But the problem is they don't care about the dial-up users, they designed this for the fast speed Internet connection users...thumbs down. (well, who asked me not to install the ADSL?) Layout, color, everything is nice and happy to see that we've got a brand new official site. btw a quick question: i saw a STAR, beside is $85, and at the top it says loading media, and i've been waiting for 5 minutes, damn I'm getting impatient and i close the windows, can somebody tell me what is it going to be loaded? many thanks.
This new one is just horrible, most of the other new team pages are far better. @Devilz This star and media thing will show some videos, in the first some Magic players wish us a nice holiday and a merry christmas (Steve, Dwight, Jameer, Hedo and Davis). It's like on the Timberwolve-page but much better quality, however it took nearly 1 minute to load with a 512 kbit/s connection.
I hapen to like the new one, but it is not long enough, and does not offer enough features. The Lakers page is old as hell yet it is longer, and offers more features then ours. However I do like the little digital introduction thing from the players. I would have preffered a lighter page though as well as more added features.
Thanks for info Coranor, I tried again just now, took me more than half minutes to load the page, without showing the videos thingy, I waited for another 15 minutes, give up, lol. And I agreed with Pure Skillz, not much features, and they seem like didnt update the news section. I am wondering why the NBA team official site don't update their team news frequently, like everyday? Because from what I know, soccernet.com (which is a site for soccer), the club site will update the news (club/player/management) everyday. I'm looking forward to seeing the succeed of orlandomagic.com soon.
What I like: The intial look - The colour + design (as in gfx) look alot nicer anc fresher. The Little Media player on front page w/ Magic staff- Think thats a rather nice add to addition to the site. What I dont like: The front page looks MORE cluttered if thats posisble. They have no sorted NEWs function out, and it still doesnt really serve much point They just need to make the middle of the page less cluttered with more active news and info. Less abrupt advertisment of tickets.
