<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Orioles have agreed in principal to a three-year deal with Detroit Tigers left-handed reliever Jamie Walker, according to two club sources. The contract will pay Walker, arguably the best left-handed reliever on the free agent market, approximately $11.5 million over three seasons. The deal will not be official until Walker, who had a 2.81 ERA in 56 games last season, takes and passes a physical.Walker, 35, has been with Detroit since 2002 as a left-handed relief specialist. Last season was his best statistically as he allowed just 15 earned runs in 48 innings and held lefties to a .238 batting average. After having the second worst bullpen ERA in the major leagues last season, the Orioles have made overhauling their relief pitching the top off-season priority. They are still targeting several other relievers, with Toronto right-handed set-up man Justin Speier being at the top of the list.</div>http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/basebal...ports-headlinesSweet. We snagged a nice left-hander that had a 2.81 ERA for the World Series opponent Detroit Tigers.

Walker was 1 of 3 RP's they were after reported yesterday. Justin Speier and Mike Stanton were the other 2. Wonder if they will continue after them.

Probably not Stanton anymore since he's just another LOOGY like Walker. I could see them still after Speier though trying to build a good bridge to Chris Ray, as their bullpen cost them many a games last year.
