Luke is hurt (out 4 weeks with a broken thumb).

The Bucks season is basically done with Bogut possibly out for the season, (at least 8 weeks), Redd done for the year and now Rid is out.

I would think Jefferson is available to any team offering young players or draft picks. Jefferson's name has been brought up before with a mix bag of comments . . . but you got figure the Bucks are loking not only to make changes but for some help just to finsih the year.

If they trade Jefferson, who is their new PG going to pass to?

I'm not really high on Jefferson, but I'm not sure Bucks are motivated to do anything with so many pieces out. They would be better off shutting it down and starting up next year after a nice lottery pick. Maybe you get rid of Jefferson and/or Redd just to keep the team young.

I would consider Jefferson in a player trade, but I don't think you give up RLEC and take the salary hit for him. He just isn't that level of player.

I don't think their owner gives a crap. Last I heard he was looking at selling the team anyhow.

Jefferson isn't a particularly good player anymore. I wouldn't consider him an upgrade on Outlaw.

I can't agree with you there. Portland is screaming for consistent players, and Jefferson would be an upgrade in this area. He is also an upgrade defensivly.

Injuries have taken their toll on Jefferson's defense and I don't think his production is particularly worthwhile. He's consistent, yes--consistently mediocre. Outlaw is up and down, but his overall production is similar.

No doubt that Travis is inconsistent. However, Jefferson had games of 3, 5, 6, 8 and 8 pts in the last couple months to go along with games of 27, 29 and 26. Travis though had 33 pts one game and a couple of goose eggs.

Jefferson averages 16 pts, 4.5 reb, 1 stl and 0.1 blocks in 34 minutes (last two months)
Travis averages 12 pts, 4.0 reb, 0.7 stl and 0.7 blocks in 27 minutes during the same time.

Jefferson shot 41% and 36%, Outlaw shot 44% and 35%.

Outlaw also costs a lot less than Jefferson.

I wouldn't mind an upgrade, I just don't think Jefferson is the guy.

Ramon Sessions is a better option at PG then anything they've left at the 2...or, Scoring Guard would be their greatest positional need in the short term.
