This really puts that Oden/Bynum debate in a whole other perspective..... neither one of those guys can stay healthy.
It's your life, but the team is paying you $17 million to stay healthy. Feel badly for 76ers fans, the team was loooking so promising.
It was not skiing for crying out loud. Bowling is not a a sport that causes knees to go bad. The guy is just brittle.
Could the Blazers give him a large one year deal as a try out? I'd be willing to do that if they couldn't get any other good big man.
Yeah I feel bad for the fans, but not the team. As far as I am concerned if you dance with the devil you deserved to get burned. Maybe the Lakers are not kicking ass as expected with Dwight, but any team that helps them land a super star deserves whatever bad karma they get.
Not so. Bowling can cause knee injury. http://www.healthguidance.org/entry/11791/1/Preventing-Knee-Injuries-While-Bowling.html
i think he has a hard time getting 4 years he might want to take a scott boras style "pillow" contract to rebuild his worth, and go for a max the next year
Rationally you would think that. However, there are not many blue chip free agents that are likely to change teams. Someone like Dallas or Houston may take a gamble. Minnesota could also do something ignorant.
