Should definately be in the Duck forum. This is like posting a Blazers article in the OT forum because you didn't want to offend anyone.

The Portland Tribune just put in a FOIA request to see what $40k bought OS last season in terms of recruiting services.

Hopefully it bought them info on players that haven't graduated 2 or 3 years ago and are still alive.

Actually, knowing OS's penchant for JC players, I expect there would be quite a few players who graduated 2 or 3 years ago from HS in what they bought.

why any Blazer fan would endorse/enrich Canzano by clicking links (let alone suggesting other Blazer fans do so too) to any of his stuff is beyond me. With his well established track record of lazy gossipy BS in place of actual coverage of our favorite teams, supporting JC is self-loathing behavior.

The University of Washington paid $40,000 to recruiting services.

Washington's biggest expense is $25,000 paid to Digital Sports Video (also sometimes referred to as Player Direct). On its website, DSV states that eight of 10 Pac-10 schools are clients and specifically lists Oregon, Oregon State and Arizona, and also states that "over half the Big 12" are clients, as well as schools such as Boise State and Texas Christian.

Washington also pays from $100 to $750 a year each for five other services, including premium subscriptions to websites Rivals.com and Scout.com.
