http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4922833 This is crazy. I'm scared of facing the Cavs now. They got Telfair too.
Jamison on the Cavs will impact them less than Amar'e would, IMO. Amar'e is a dominant, impact player. Jamison is damn good, but I wouldn't label him as dominant. Odom easily can negate him.
Oh, ok. At first, I was pissed cause they got Antawn, but now, I'm a bit more calmed down when I realize that Amare is a much more dangerous opponent. Now, let's improve the point!
IMO this isn't much of an impact acquisition. Jamison puts up good numbers but doesn't really affect wins/losses that much. I would expect his numbers to dip dramatically. He could help space the floor but I really don't think this makes Cleveland that much better. They have a very awkwardly assembled team.
im glad we got the lesser of 2 evils... but then Jamison will prove to be a matchup problem since he can space the floor more than amare can...
As an outsider, i think Jamison will mesh a lot better with their cast right now than amare would have
I agree. I think Jamison is going to transition into their flow much smoother than Amare would have. And they get to hold on to Hickson when it looked like they were going to have to give him up. With all that said, I still like a healthy Lakers squad over anyone.
I think they won't be able to use Antawn if Pau and Drew are together. Or they could go big with LBJ at the point, and Antawn at the 3, with Varejao and Shaq.
If Big Z doesn't get bought out (crossing fingers), then Cleveland's post defense is gonna suck big time.
