Blake Griffin is a beast. He's putting up Mike Beasley type numbers so far. 22 ppg 19 rpg. Watching him play he looks like a quicker Carlos Boozer.

Another player I like is Stephon Curry. He'd sure look nice next to Brandon Roy. A Steve Kerr shot with a killer instinct to boot. 35 PPG 9 APG in 4 games. Amazing.

I was thinking that very thing while watching SportsCenter tonight. I liked what he did in the tourney last year, and he has "open shot maker and heart breaker" written all over him.

I'm stoked about this college season. I don't think Curry will pan out to anything more than an Eddie House in the pro's though. I remember watching House put up 61 points against Cal back in the day. If he falls to us late in the draft than I'm all over it, but he'd be nothing I'd want to give up a 1st round pick on.

Curry is more than just a shooter though, hes a scorer. He gets to the line and could be a Rip Hamilton style player with better 3 point range and a little bit of Monte Ellis's slashing ability due to his speed.

He can score in a lot of different ways, Eddie House was the same way in college. His size prevented him from doing that in the league. Curry is a string bean and his frame looks like its difficult to add weight on. I don't see the Rip Hamilton comparison at all, Hamilton is bigger and doesn't rely much on the three at all. Ellis' athleticism and ability to finish at the rim are what allows him to be a great slasher, neither of which Curry has.
