Talking about Ray Lewis, he says, "Let's be grown-ups about this. He's better today after an injury than he was a year ago. Kobe is significantly better today than he was a year ago. Adrian Peterson comes back from an ACL tear in 8 months and has a career year. What am I saying? You know what I'm saying." Since I love the Vikings and couldn't care less about Lewis, the only part of that rant that's interesting to me is Kobe. Has anybody considered the possibility that Kobe is on the juice? Do we care?
european blood spinning treatments, who is to say he didnt get "prescribed" some hgh over there to help heal? that being said, if hgh is a treatment that can help you heal quicker, why is it banned? seems dumb to not be able to use the best treatment possible from an injury standpoint
If that happened, there would probably be no hall of fame induction and his records will all be tainted.
I think its the PRP combined with the new stem cell treatment (injection) that is now derived from your own adipose (fat) tissue. I am researching this for myself as I have modest knee arthritis after 3 scopes for meniscus tears the past 15 years. This is very new and studies are underway, but early returns are very promising as cartilage regeneration is actually occurring in many case where one still has some cartilage left, it also is used to speed healing in tendon and ligament tears. I am in Bend and even a local doc here is now doing a combined PRP/stem cell shot and the cost is $1750, which for anything stem cell related is really cheap compared to the previous stem cells deriver from bone marrow. This is an outpatient procedure, done in the docs office and takes 1-2 hours. Note that I just had on dec. 10 my right achilles injected with a PRP shot ($390), I did this because i was getting chronic tendonosis and I did this to my left Achilles two years ago and remain fully healed. This is great stuff and cutting edge medcine and NO surgery!
That medicine and treatments today are far better than they were ten years ago? And Kobe takes care of his body like a mad man?
it is great as it is extending the years an old tennis war horse like myself (57 yrs old) can still play competively
