Well, McHale was a lousy GM but a good coach. Dunleavy has made some good personnel decisions lately (Eric Gordon, Al Thornton, DeAndre Jordan) but has been tuned out for the last two seasons as a coach. It's crazy to think how viable a FA spot the Clippers could be this summer if Sterling didn't own the team.
Dunleavy drafted MUCH better than Elgin Baylor, but he has a tendency to alienate his players after a while. So IMHO the move makes sense. BNM
I have a hard time believing anybody could keep up with both jobs and not get worn down. That is a lot of responsibility.
