    Elliot Williams showcased well in the D league being the #1 ranking guard there. Apparently the Jazz took notice and are in process of signing him to a 10 day contract. I always liked EW and wish him well.

    Agreed I would love to seem him succeed there. They are in desperate need of a SG and he will get the chance to play

    The dude can jump. I've always liked him. I was bummed when he got hurt with us. Good Luck to him, I hope I see him on ESPN. :)

    Damn, I'm sure glad the Blazers made him untouchable for as long as they did! I don't know where we'd be without it.

    This post reeks idiocy! He was untouchable because he was always injured. Who was going to trade for him???? Just because he stayed on this team for so long had more to do with being such a low contract and often injured. Had nothing to do with his talent level.

    Good, I'm happy he'll get another chance at the NBA. He was always an NBA level talent, but had the weirdest injuries. I met him once and he seems like a really good guy - very friendly and polite. And man, he can jump out of the gym. I wonder of we'll be seeing more Jazz highlights on Sports Center in the near future.

    Word on the street says that this means Dante Exum is expendible. Should we offer Barton for him? Hmm. Exum's a lot like Barton.

    I kind of wish we'd signed EW as a spark plug off the bench. I always thought he'd be a good 6man

    Exum is on a rookie contract for a couple more years though...not a bad idea

    I made up that word on the street stuff. Then I realized that Barton's kind of like Exum in his strengths and weaknesses.

    He was too good for the Sixers...they need players who can help them keep losing and tanking.

    Rook makes a good point. When the 76ers kick a player out of town, it's an honor, because he's too talented to help them tank. Other teams should start a bidding war for any such player immediately.

    [kingspeed]Jazz undefeated with MOV = 20.0 since acquiring Elliot Williams.

    Elliot Williams:
    PTS/36 = 90.0
    PER = 117.4
    TS% = 1.250
    WS/48 = 2.170

    Suck it haters! Elliot Williams is the greatest shooter in the history of the NBA. Learn the game, then post [/kingspeed]
