Wow, did anyone see that finish? 10 seconds left in regulation, Heat down two, Heat miss, Turiaf blows the rebound and it's Heat ball. Then Wade to Beasley who misses but Haslem gets the O rebound and puts it in at the buzzer. OT, Heat and Warriors trade baskets until Warriors go up 4. 15 seconds left and Wade makes a 3 point play. Heat down 1. Maggette with two clutch free throws and it's Heat ball again. Wade misses a three but Biedrins blows the rebound and it's Heat ball. Inbound pass to Chris Quinn who hits a three. Then Beasley steals the Warriors inbounds pass with 3.2 seconds left and is fouled. Makes 1/2 free throws. Crawford (Who had 38 points) drives and misses a layup that just rims out at the buzzer. Holy crap. Reminds me of the Portland/Houston game.
Yup our worst loss this season. I hope we don't have too many of those. Also, it didn't help Morrow wasn't done using his 15 minutes of fame
I am just thinking how Portland is going to do against Golden State the next time we meet. Our contests between these two teams have always been rough but I do think GS is regressing at this moment (getting routed by the Wizards 124-100 on Nov 25th). If the Blazers keep on winning against West/Eastern conference teams then the rematch in Oakland will be a different story on Feb 12, 2009.
Teams started scouting and prepping for him. There is a reason he was not drafted. Not to say he will disappear, however. Just saying that teams realized that allowing a guy to shoot lights out without any sort of plan probably isn't ideal in the NBA.
Jamal Crawford is what happened.... ...wait until Monta Ellis happens and there won't be many minutes for the rookie.
I'll refresh your memory... we lost to a team that night and they weren't wearing the warriors' ugly uniforms.. they were wearing black and white and they were wielding whistles.
