So I am playing my franchise. I got SO sick of Blake. This is the trade that was accepted, with no changes to any player skill points or anything. Blake, 1st round pick, 2nd round pick for Tyrus Thomas and Joakim Noah LOL!!!!! Amazing trade!!! My team feels\plays SO much better now. Miller\Bayless Roy\Rudy\Webster Batum\Outlaw LMA\Thomas Oden\Joel\Noah Then I am going to let Joels contract expire and save coin. Anyhow, just thought I would share to any other gamer out there. I LOVE the game! So fun!!!
you must have turned trade override on lol.. I think it worked cause LMA and Roys contracts hadnt kicked in yet too I bet.
not to mention joakim noah was rated ridiculously low in this game coupled with the fact that a 1st rounder is overvalued in this game.
The latter. I don't do trade overrides. And yes, 1st round picks are overrated. BUT, my friend is also playing franchise mode with me. He had a 1st round, 24th pick. Started the guy and he got R.O.Y. (simulating) so maybe they aren't so bad! Noah is like 69 rated and Thomas was like 70. The trade balanced my team out SO well! I love the squad now. And Outlaw is MONEY. I like him on the game.
Ben - throw the current roster of the Blazers in against Cleveland, on CPU mode- and see what it comes back as (the score, etc)
haha ok I will try when I get home. My buddy is the Cavs in our franchise, and I usually beat him when we sim. But then again, on the game, everyone is healthy and playing well lol Greg is a beast on the game! Roy is unstoppable if you play with him right and Rudy will not miss if you shoot right with him. Same with Trout.
I only play Blake about 6 minutes a game because Miller averages 22 assists per game and Bayless can get to the free throw line. Consequently, Blake has TWICE asked for a trade. I've refused. We're 20-12, by the way. Just beat the Nuggets by 2 points on Christmas day. They are now 20-11.
I think he plays 12 minute quarters. Isn't somethin like 7 or 8 minute quarters recommended for realistic stats?
I play 9 minutes with sliders turned down.. so my stats are super realistic.. but the other team's are off.. Its basically a guess and check method for me on the sliders. I average like 104 ppg but the other teams are at like 84. I tried normal sliders on 10 minutes and it was like 129 to 130 scores it was NUTS!
I play 6 minute quarters, game speed turned up to 60 with only my offense sliders put up to 55 and I put Off and Def awareness up to 95 for CPU and myself. So the players aren't running around like idiots. I usually get up in the 90's with pretty realistic stats.
thats NUTS cause I'm so used to the slower pace of the years before with @k.. I left it at 50 on this one and thats fast lol
