Lots of trades and and moves and signings over the last 48 hours. Did your team benefit? You lose an important part of your team? What does this mean for the draft. NFC: 49ers. Boldin will make Kaepernick an MVP candidate next year. Mark my words. AFC: Chargers: They signed King Dunlap instead of Jake Long? Really?!
Raiders cut Heyward-Bey and Michael Huff. Lost Desmond Bryant to the Browns. Getting worse, but we still have a lot of fat to trim.
I don't get why the Saints let Bushrod go but retained Will Smith. I understand that he took a paycut, but he was complete shit last season. At least, on a positive note, they retained Jonathan Vilma, with a paycut. Don't sleep on the 2013 Saints with Sean Payton back in tow.
Waiting for the cowboys to trade spencer. But I'm not so sure they will now. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
Pretty amazing just how long its taking to totally tear down the bloated roster that he built. This will be the second consecutive offseason of wholesale cuts and it looks like we'll have over 30 million in dead money again because of it. If they draft well this year and next and use their money wisely next offseason (and this offseason to a lesser extent), they could establish a strong foundation. Unfortunately if you had to predict their record right now, it looks like they'd be lucky to win 3 or 4 games next year.
Pryor does deserve a shot. But people don't trust him for some reason. I'm a Charger fan, and I root for them thick and thin(which leads to my Raiders dislike). Still, Chargers have done nothing. NOTHING
True true. No idea whats happened to rivers the last two years. Hope Mathews puts it all together this year too
It's because of a crap O-line. AJ Smith letting good players leave SD because he was too cheap, bad drafts, and Norv Turner.
I'm pretty damn optimistic and patient, but I have no faith in Pryor based on what I saw last year. Just not an NFL QB IMO. Hes no Kaepernick, Wilson, Cam Newton, etc. Very inaccurate, doesn't seem to be that intelligent. I dunno, just don't see anything there now or in the future. I don't think he'd even be as effective as Tavaris Jackson. Raiders picked up Pat Sims today. I didn't know shit about him, but apparently hes a stout run stuffing DT who has struggled with staying healthy. 6'2 335 lbs- could possibly play NT if we ever need it. Not a flashy pick up but consistent with the rest of Reggie McKenzie's moves; low downside deal for a guy who could way out-produce his contract if he stays healthy. Don't expect much for this coming season, but I'd like to get a better feel for whether Dennis Allen's scheme is effective.
Where is Elway even getting this money. Is he going over the salary cap or something? Telesco so far hasn't done anything. Cox and Dunlap are crap from what I've heard.
They are trying to restructure Dumerville last I heard. Not sure how much. Maybe backloading the contract?
