Does anyone else find this odd?

"Offense Wins games but defense wins championships"
Chris Mullin never really played defense.
Chris Mullin never won a championship (to my knowledge).
The opening block isn't really a display of good defense.
Really, shouldn't they have found someone else to do the PSA?

btw, vaccines are neither safe nor effective. Basically, there is nothing right about this PSA.

That's why we are all still dying of measles and polio and whooping cough. Because vaccines aren't safe or effective.

    Aren't we?

Look at infant mortality stats from the 19th century. Then preach.

True, Mullin never played defense, maybe that's why he never won a title. But the PSA is fine. I mean, better late than never, he realized defense is important.

Not interested in a pissing contest, but cleanliness standards then were no where near what they are now, and you, Miss, are the one preaching.

Mullin maximized his abilities and was an amazing NBA player. I like him and respect him. However, to me Mullin speaking about the merits of defense is just downright funny.

I've been seeing this for months and thinking exactly the same thing. Notice that the ONE shot they get of Mully playing defense is incredibly grainy. They literally couldn't find any shot better. It's hilarious.

Not so hilarious. In fact, batshit crazy. Thank you and your ilk for causing the resurgence of measles as an actually dangerous thing. What's next, polio?

Well, he did win an Olympic championship with the original (and only) Dream Team. However, securing that title didn't exactly hinge on Mullin's defensive prowess. I could have taken his spot on that roster and they still would have won every game by 40+ points.

Yes. Every time I see that commercial I think they literally could have gotten any other NBA player, other than Kiki, to do it and it would have made more sense

The problem is that pertussis is lethal to children at an age they are too young to get the vaccine. So the carriers that it's not life threatening for, don't see a problem skipping the vaccine since they've already lived through it. Or are you just being an asshole and saying any dying is good to control population, regardless of cause of death?
