http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/68920/20100831/oklahoma_city_restructures_front_office/ The sky has officially fallen!
You obviously don't get it. Read between the lines man, their team is falling apart starting with the front office... Soon they will start making bad trades, Durant will ask for a trade, their team will only win 20 games a season, and they will get sold... AGAIN and have to move cities. (It's pretty much written in stone at this point.) I mean isn't that what the conspiracy theorist's said was happening to our team when we did, essentially, the same thing with our organization? Game over man. GAME OVER!
The sad part is that certain posters are so bat-shit crazy, it's terribly hard to decipher painfully obvious sarcasm.
That, or the OKC "restructuring" has nothing in common with the Portland front office "restructuring" that took place this summer.
Oh you guys are right, I'd hate to drag the doom and gloom over to such a budding franchise. For shame.
That's exactly what this is. To be honest, I just wanted to point out that you can spin anything negatively. The doom and gloom posters are too quick to throw our franchise under the bus. When OKC does something, it's "restructuring". When Portland does it, it's Clown Town.
Mmmmkay. Not the same scenario, but I'm sure it made you feel better. Anyhow, I hope OKC is in shambles.
And they were right, that's exactly what happened. And it started over yet again this off-season after falling far short of the expectations.
