That is one heck of a contract for him. He could have easily been out of the league if he come up on the wrong team. Hopefully he will be able to light it up in NY. Good for him.

I wonder how pissed NJ fans will be when the realize they didn't sign Bo Outlaw?

I was born in the Tri-State area. TO has no idea how brutal the fans and the press can be. He may never learn to spell "D'Alessandro", but he's going to dread that guy's presence.

Travis is a good guy with great athletic ability. If his new coaching staff can guide him properly, he can flourish there. Yeah, the media is tough, but so are Portland fans! ;)

You know, I was wondering where "Bo Outlaw" came from. Apparently, there was a player by that name who I believe played for the Clippers. That is apparently where the confusion started.

The only thing that will save him is scoring 18 ppg ... but his defense and penchant for "wtf was that" shots, is really going to piss people off. Oof.

oh no, the big bad media is going to get him with their printed words and microphones :rolleyes2:

Adding Travis, and now Morrow, the Nets are boosting their perimeter threats which should only help support Lopez's low post game and Harris's driving. TO will also be a solid Go option for them when the clock is winding down. Favors could contribute next year too. Given health they should be much improved from last year which is usually something that fans/local media enjoy.

Outlaw is toast. He'll be on another team, or out of the league, in two years.

Another tidbit: he also wore goggles, which Travis does not. ;)

Well, he's got a 35 million five year guaranteed deal, so I'm guessing he'll tough it out (where ever he ends up) til the end.

If NETS fans could live with Derrick Coleman, I think they can stomach Travis.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Outlaw will do fine. Plenty of mediocre players with questionable shot selection have played in New York/New Jersey without being mentally/emotionally crushed. Martell Webster might have a few issues there, but I doubt Outlaw will suffer.
