Scott Skiles is no longer the coach of the Milwaukee Bucks, according to a person familiar with the discussions.

The person, who spoke to USA TODAY Sports on the condition of anonymity because the team had yet to announce the move, said it was a mutual decision between Skiles and the team.

Skiles has been the coach of the Bucks since the 2008-09 season, compiling a record of 162-182, with one playoff appearance. Overall, Skiles has a record of 443-433 in 13 seasons. He was in the last year of his contract with the Bucks.

    Rambling...

Looks like Skiles' 4 year expiration date was reached. His routine wears thin really fast.

He'd be a perfect college coach. The players there graduate in 4 years, typically, so his act wouldn't wear thin with anyone at that level.

    Vinnie's not fired yet.

Jim Boylan gets to be interim coach once again!!! He deserves it.

Skiles is certifiably nuts. I thought so when he put up that big stink about his contract with the Bulls, and got cut down to size by Mike North on the Score, of all people. Now it's for sure.
