If the Suns win, we're in first place. Though if the Jazz win, we get closer to the Suns. At the moment, only the Suns and Lakers have a better record than us out west. Isn't that crazy? Either outcome tonight benefits us in some way but I'm going to root for Phoenix. I want to see us at the top of the division.
I'm happy with either outcome. I want Oklahoma City to come back and the Clippers to put more distance between us and the Spurs.
Because it will clutter the forum if we have game threads for every game in the NBA that impacts Portland's playoff positioning. If you want one "Out of town games" thread that you post your thoughts about non-Blazers games in each night, that's fine. But please don't make a new thread for every game.
At least I posted about basketball. There's that long Zack Addy thread that has nothing to do with Zack Addy or basketball.
Damn, OKC. They suck. Will they win 15 games this season? And what's Durant doing about it? I always believe that a great player plus 11 scrubs should be able to win half their games. I thought Durant was supposed to have an immediate impact. Couldn't the Thunder have gone 1-10 without him? So what's he doing to help the team?
I take most of that back. The Wolves sucked two years ago with KG. Cs sucked with Pierce two years ago. Heat sucked with Wade and Shaq. Maybe I'm too harsh on Durant.
I didn't understand that. It would be hard to sliding a phone book under any of those guys. Do some defy gravity?
Isn't it amazing that Grant Hill still plays? He had all those injuries and surgeries, year after year after year. Looked like he would never play again. And now he is and for a good team. Remember when people said he was the next Jordan? Him, Stackhouse, Carter.
