Prime Minister elect Justin Pierre Trudeau boxed political opponent Patrick Brazeau in 2012 for charity. The amateur bout was more intense than expected with neither fighter holding back. Brazeau blows his arms out in the first round trying to knock his taller opponent out. Punching up and in an undisciplined manner, Brazeau exhausts himself. Brazeau starts getting stuck with the left polearm jab by Trudeau in the second. Brazeau attempts to counter with more overhands but his power is sapped and Trudeau attacks the body and head with left-right combinations forcing a standing eight count. The third round begins with both fighters flat footed and visibly tired, throwing looping punches that miss or tangle in their opponents arms. Trudeau unloads with left-right combinations attacking the body until Brazeau covers, then attacking the head, forcing another standing eight count. The fight is resumed and Trudeau attacks, pummeling Brazeau from the centre of the right back into the corner, and the referee intervenes with another standing eight. Brazeau's nose bloodied, the referee waves off the fight. Brazeau would later claim that he threw the fight.
Brazeau was the youngest Senator in Canada but has been suspended. He's been embroiled in a number of controversies, most notably a sexual assault charge. He's managing a strip club in the interm (no joke).
Ask The Axe Murderer. Ask to his face! wandfc Congratulations to my dear friend and great leader Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Your victory is Canada's victory. Parabéns ao meu amigo e grande líder novo Primeiro Ministro do Canadá Justin Trudeau. Sua vitória é uma vitória para todos os Canadenses. "Canadians from all across this great country sent a clear message tonight: it's time for a change in this country, a real change. And that a positive, optimistic, hopeful vision of public life isn't a naive dream, it can be a powerful force for change. All of our supporters had one thing in common, they care deeply about their families, their communities and their country. They believe that better is possible and that active citizens can play a real part in making it happen. You built this platform, you built this movement. You told us what you need to be successful, you told us what kind of government you want and we built the plan to make it happen. You told us about the kind of country you want to build and leave to your children. You will be at the heart of this new government. I know that I am on stage tonight for one reason and one reason only, because you put me here. I didn't make history tonight, you did." ~ Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau
