Uh, oh. This can't be good news for Westbrook or OKC fans . . . http://sports.yahoo.com/news/thunders-westbrook-knee-surgery-4-172622659--ncaab.html
Maybe "under the scope" would be better. Might end up being nothing, but when you see a trend of surgeries it kind of reminds you of the number 7 or worse.
He did? Did he go under again today? Or is this the same surgery that's been discussed in a few threads today already? That'd be crazy if this turns out to be ANOTHER surgery.
Reportedly he had a stitch from his initial surgery that was causing irritation and needed to be corrected. Doesn't sound like a big deal, but it's going to slow the Thunder a bit at the start of the season. I'm trying really hard to feel even a little bit bad about that.
Why? Why would you TRY to feel bad about anything? ESPECIALLY this? (I know you weren't being literal.)
No it's as if it's already being talked about in another thread. Sent from my baller ass iPhone 5 FAMS!
I think it will unfortunately make the Thunder a stronger team. Durant and the Thunder looked a little lost and were having problems getting easy baskets after Westbrook went down. Durant will learn, the team will learn how to get good looks with him not on the floor. Even if he isn't as mobile when he comes back the team will still be better than if he had never left
Will miss the first 4-6 weeks . . . another set back and we could be talking 8-12 weeks, then talking returning after all star break then talks about how he should be ready by start of next year. At least that is how it goes with the Greg Oden timeline . . .
There was no other thread with "Westbrook" in the title--and there still isn't. I'm not going to wade into every damn "theme thread" on this board and read every post to make sure someone isn't already talking about an interesting news story.
They did lose Kevin Martin, he was most efficient per touch according to those fancy tracking cameras they have now.
