If it's really true that Tracy McGrady and Rockets' Brass/owner are mad at each other, would they go so far as to trade him? Somehow I doubt it. I see it ending up like Jamal Tinsley/Stephon Marbury - they'll hang on to him but just cruelly shun him. His contract is just too insane, and it expires at the end of the year. What could they get for him that would be better than 23 million dollars off their cap?

    Suggestions are made. Others?

If I had any inclination that McGrady could be the player he once was, I would say go after him..... but I think he's probably done.

At this point of his career I'm guessing he's worth more as an expiring contract than as an actual player. I guess the team could make a move for him (in an effort to get back under the cap and go out and recruit more free agents) but how the hell would we match? That'a an awful lot of cheddar; you'd basically have to gut the roster just to get close.

The "best" I can come up with is Miller, Przy, Outlaw and Webster.

I don't think the Rocket owner is mad at T-Mac, I think he's mad at his contract!

There's been rumors out here the Clippers are interested in acquiring him and/or Allen Iverson. They're trying to boost ticket sales and merchandise sales.

According to TMac he's healthy enough to play right now.

Can't argue you there. Clippers would have to include Baron Davis or Chris Kaman to make it work, unless they can get a third team involved somehow. Houston would have no interest in Baron and Kaman is playing too well for the Clippers to trade him. However, Donald Sterling has a history of salary dumping and hasn't been a supporter of Kaman.
