Childress wouldn't be a bad option, he's no centerpiece to build a team around, but he's a good passer, good defender, good rebounder and efficient shooting the ball. If they were to offer him something in the 8-9 million per year range for 4 or 5 years he'd be worth it (and there'd be no way the Hawks would match). But as Maxiep said, it's time to burn it down and start over, but they won't after Gilbert's "guarantee."
