Our Expiring Contracts

    Currently, we have the following players expiring at this amount

    Keith Van Horn - <font face="ARIAL"><font size="2"><font face="ARIAL"><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><font color="#000000">$15,694,250
    </font></font></font></font></font>    <font face="ARIAL"><font size="2"><font face="ARIAL"><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><font color="#000000">Jason Terry - $7,500,000
    DJ MBenga - $1,760,000
    Darrell Armstrong - $1,138,500

    I think the priorities for next season will be
    - Re-signing Jason Terry
    - Re-siging DJ MBenga
    - Doesn't matter about Keith or Darrell, IMO.


    What do you suggest we do with them? Trade KVH's massive expiring for some players to help us contend straight away? Let them expire for minimal cap relief

    I'd rather see us trade for some role players just because we are so far over the cap it really won't matter much if we let him go. Mbenga and Terry should definately be resigned

    He has lot's of potential, plus he is a big man.

    I also think Mbenga and Terry are the priorities, maybe the Mavs should think about trading KVH's humongo contract elsewhere as for Armstrong he is a spark off the bench but I think it is time for him to retire.

    Ditto. Terry and Mbenga should be resigned. I like Armstrong, so he should be resigned. I'd trade KVH for some nice players, only if it'll help the team reach the finals. If a deal like that wouldn't work out, then i'd let his contract expire.
