See he got on with ESPN, hope he doesn't become a another Boston shill, one never knows what will happen with that network. Look at Brett Boone, hit that bomb in '03, now hawks the Bostons so bad its' sickening.
^^^ whew, when I first read the thread title I thought for a second that you were informing us that he's coming out of retirement & is returning to the Yanx.
I remember Tex saying he wanted to play until 40 before he really fell into the tank last season. Had he been able to finish a good season it would have not surprised me at all if that dumbass Cashman would have given him a ridiculous contract. In my view Tex was a fine defensive player who could hit upon completion of his slow starts. Availability is a key signature and he should have shown up for work more often. Wish him the best with ESPN but he may end up getting sucked into that Boston Blah BS,
^^^^ should be interesting to see Tex's broadcasting career unfold, wish him luck... No one can be worse than Rose and A-Hole working a game; as post season revealed, -
