    What kind of floors and ceilings do you see with our current prospects on the roster? Trying to keep this as open for interpretation as possible. Consider their playing styles, or impact, whatever you wish, but maybe project this down a few years from now when these guys are done growing. This could be cool to trace back to in a year or so once we get to see these guys more, and perhaps even understand actually what we have on the roster. Not considering Dame, Gerald, and Ed as they are most likely not going to deviate too much from their current levels.

    So formatting: Player X: (Best case scenario) || (worst case scenario)

    CJ McCollum: (Ginobili) || (Jamal Crawford)
    Meyers Leonard: (Okur) || (Bargnani)
    Noah Vonleh: (Sheed) || (Brandon Bass)
    Moe Harkless: (Ariza) || (out of NBA)
    Mason Plumlee: (Mozgov) || (Rolo)
    Al-Farouq Aminu: (Batum) || (Harrison Barnes.. current)
    Allen Crabbe: (Jimmy Butler) || (out of NBA)
    Pat Connaughton: (Wes Matthews) || (out of NBA)
    Tim Frazier: (Greivis Vasquez) || (out of NBA)
    Luis Montero: (Chase Budinger) || (out of NBA)

    All in all, if we strike gold with even a couple of these guys, we should be set. Realistically, most of these guys will probably end up in the middle somewhere. Allen Crabbe is a bit hard to project for me, but he's definitely intriguing.

    Rolo and Crawford are worst case scenarios? That's a pretty danged high floor...

    Its truth though. If we have successfully put together a culture of hard work I think they could go full remember the titans. And if they dont get it or decide to take plays off then we will be bottom 5 in league. I dont see a middle ground with dame at the helm. Either they follow his lead or get left in the dust.

    Im also not the best judge for predicting blazers doing poorly. I was convinced przybilla was leading us to a ring every year until the day we were mathematically eliminated from playoffs. And even then I proposed what happens if the L*kers team plane is shot out the sky by our lord Jesus.

    Strictly speaking, the "worst case" would always be something like "spontaneously explodes taking entire stadium with him" but I get what you mean.

    CJ McCollum: Title team Mavs Jason Terry ||OJ Mayo
    Meyers Leonard: More athletic Bill Laimbeer || Bargnani seems about right
    Noah Vonleh: Boozer || Loser
    Moe Harkless: C0rey Brewer || Corey Feldman
    Mason Plumlee: Rolo || Mozgov
    Al-Farouq Aminu: Jerome Kersey || Thomas Robinson
    Allen Crabbe: Reggie Lewis || Francisco Garcia
    Pat Connaughton: Mario Elie || (out of NBA)
    Tim Frazier: Poor man's Ty Lawson, without the booze || (out of NBA)
    Luis Montero: Will Barton || (out of NBA)

    Good thing I wasn't drinking a beer after reading some of these expectations.

    Interesting that you think Rolo is better than Moz. Considering the relatively little discrepancy between the two, I'd say Plums is pretty close to both.

    Fair enough. :), Even if they go full on Titan, I think there will just be a few too many mistakes due to lack of experience and cohesion. I think this is a lottery team that will "will, run and play D" that keeps them in the middle of the pack and if we see a couple guys explode, we make the playoffs. There are too many good teams to go anywhere in the playoffs though, but the experience would be invaluable to this youth I think. The confidence going into the offseason... whoa... lookout...

    Isn't Moz way younger? more unknowns and upside? I think the potential is way higher than Rolo.

    That was sort of a joke: I like them both. But RoLo is nobody's worst case scenario. Most Knicks writers are very happy with his acquisition for a fuck of a lot more than Plumlee will get. RoLo is a no-stats all-star, whereas I'm not convinced Plumlee has shown close to that. If you're being given away for a low first-rounder, that's a bit of a red flag. Probably Plumlee's worst case is One of the Other Plumlees.

    Damn El. That is one of the worst Blazer teams I have ever seen on potential. Just terrible!

    Wouldn't the worst case for every player be "out of the NBA"?

    Where does "in the MLB" stand in relation to "out of the NBA"?

    That would be worst case, but I think this is what we think their worst case would be. Some of these guys worst case I think still keeps them in the NBA, just not as valuable as their best case.
