Who do you guys think is our worst defender? Me, I think it is toss up between Jarvis Hayes and Antawn Jamison. Jarvis Hayes- Everything about his game has changed. His shot isn't the same, go back and look at tapes..he has changed his form. His D is horrendous. I thought last year it was because he was playing SF and going against bigger opponents. But this year, he hasnt improved. Kobe Bryant brought the Lakers back into the game Friday night when Jarvis was placed in the game. He has no desire on D and that is really hurting us. Antawn Jamison- He is known for his bad d. Lamar Odom was having his way with him at the beginning of the game Friday night, and I believe the Lakers would of won if they would of continued going to Lamar. Jamison just gets pushed around on D. He doesn't try to stop people from backing him down, or atleast it doesn't look like it. He goes right back along with them. I think he could be a decent defender if he tried because he is long, but until he tries on D he will not be a superstar and he will not be the leader of this team, in my eyes that is Gilbert.
i dont really think hayes has no desire on D,he is just out of position with both the small forward and shooting guard position. he is too slow to play shooting guard, yet too weak to bang at SF. anyway, i say antawn is the worst defender, he is always first and foremost an offensive player. Kobe 8 ball, can u elaborate on Hayes' shooting form? i dont quite understand that part

Last year at the beginning of the year it was all one fluid motion. Then it started to change, now it looks like he is forcing the ball out and isnt getting full extenstion or something..it is just different.
I see you're liking Arenas more and more this year Kobe8, he's really improved though, I just love his work ethic, and his assists might not be too high, but he's been cutting his turnovers since after the first 5 games, and Kwame coming back should help his assist numbers. Anyways after my digression, I think Jarvis Hayes is our worst defender, the guy just can't play defense, I men really he's got the atheticism, but doesn't really have the quickness at the 2, and I at the 3 I don't know. Jamison is also not the best of defenders, but Hayes would beat him as being worse.
