Why so much hate? Congratulations to the Bears on winning the division. The Vikings will be back next year, and hopefully without Mike Tice!

Yes, congrats to the Bears - a well deserved NFC North championship.

I personally think Tice deserves at least two more years. I was hating him at the beginning of the season but was really impressed with the turnaround he provided. Besides, put a new coach in the system and we will have to wait at least two to three more years before we make a run at the superbowl.

I think that with this offseason, a few key upgrades at certain positions (offensive line, running back), and an upgrade of the coaching staff could put the Vikings in a great position to make a strong run at the playoffs.

Dump COLDpepper and start with a fresh QB or not, what do you think VF?

Getting rid of Culpepper would be a huge mistake. People forget just how good he was last year, and this year he played in what was basically a new system with a persistent knee injury that he did not let on about. Add to that the fact that he was running for his life and being asked to go deep (which requires staying in the pocket longer), there is every reason to believe that he had everything working against him.

There are very few good QB's in the league, and even fewer who we could get through FA. Drafting a QB means that it will be at least two seasons before we can think about the SB. Culpepper, when healthy, is one of the league's best QBs. I also think that if he were healthy we would have still won those 6 games in a row, and possibly even won last night's game and the game against Pittsburgh.

The only question about Pep is whether or not he will be healthy enough to play. But if we get a good Oline put together next year for him, then I see no reason to believe that he comes back and puts up solid numbers once again.

Yeah, Tice should get an extension for maybe one more year. Just to make sure that this isn't a fluke and now he knows how it's like without Moss out there. He did do a pretty good job with Brad Johnson.

I don't think Tice should come back.. The fact is this team has the talent to make the playoffs and they didn't. Tice's best record has the teams coach is 9-7.. I think they should take a new look and maybe keep Tice around as a consultant if he doesn't land a gig elsewhere..

I think with the new ownership it's more likely that Tice will be gone. However he deserves another year.

Tice deserves a 25 year contract extension lol........HE did a good job overall, he is only the coach and I like his type of coach. Not afraid to yell but he understands what happens on the playing field.
