Big 3 as in Roy, Aldridge, and Oden. Hopefully they all stay, but will they? If not, who's most likely to bolt? Brandon Roy - Least likely of the trio. He's from Washington, and with no more Sonics, this is the closest thing to home. He has a good relationship with McMillan and the fans just love him here. This is his team, and there's no way he leaves IMO. Honestly, I don't know what I would do if he did leave. LaMarcus Aldridge - The guy has enough talent to be a number one option elsewhere. And with KG and Duncan leaving their primes soon, the title of best PF in the league will be wide open in a few years. He'll be one of the premiere PF's in the league, with the likes of Bosh and Stoudemire. This would also mean other teams will be slobbering over the idea of snatching him away from the Blazers and building a team around him. Will Aldridge be content with being a #2/#3 guy when he has the potential to lead his own team? Greg Oden - One of the reasons why we should get Mike Conley is to make sure Oden stays here. Oden has a LA/NY-styled personality. He likes the Hollywood biz and Portland isn't exactly known for that. Portland media and fans are already blasting him for his injuries, so what if he wants to stick it to us and leave for a bigger town? And also, what if he doesn't become the great center we thought we had but wants a max contract? Do we give it to him? Personally, I'm thinking Paul Allen and KP are smart enough to not let any of these guys go. I think the most likely of them all is Aldridge though. Like I said above, he will be one of, if not THE best PF's in the league. Can he do what Scotty Pippen did? Scottie Pippen was the best SF at the time and knew very well he could've gone to another team to be successful and instead of being #2 on the Bulls, he could've been #2 in the entire NBA. But he sacrificed the want for MVP's, stats, etc., and stayed with the Bulls, because he knew that team would end up winning multiple championships if he teamed up with MJ. For Aldridge, I wouldn't be surprised either way. Discuss.
