Offically, the 2 jerseys for the Timberwolves is the white (home) and the blue (away). The black (alternate) jersey being the 3rd adition to the T'Wolves jerseys. Lately it seems all the T'Wolves wear on the road is black alternate jersey or at least for the most part. Do you think the Wolves are going to phase the "offical" away blue jerseys and make the black alternates their primary road jersey?
I doubt it, the Blue Jerseys are a big seller with the public. If they stop wearing them competely, that would mean they would have to be discontinued to the public or at the very least the sales for that jersey would decrease because prople dont see them anymore. My theory is just that the t-wolves have been playing so well on the road (besides the Rockets game)using the black unis that they just are deciding to stick with what works until it doesnt work anymore.
my cousin and i realized that they, particularly wally, play worse in the blue uniforms. the black ones just look cooler too
The Timberwolves have some weird superstition or something. Last year they barely wore their black jerseys because they lost a lot in them. This year it seems to be the opposite. I guess whatever works.
