From start to finish. Even when the game was tied, for as short a time as that was, it never felt like the Rangers had a chance to win tonight. The Rangers played like it was a game in the middle of January, no sense of urgency, no intensity. Pitt forechecked, backchecked, passed, skated...everything was flat out better than the Rangers. It was extremely frustrating to witness. The Rangers were flat out exposed tonight as a far inferior team. UGH!!!! It's going to be a long off-season. Too bad they don't have multiple buyouts. On a positive note, great goal by Hags! And....uhhh....at least they beat Fleury with a bad goal towards the end of the game...that's about it.
Even when they tied it Pitt came right back and stemmed the tide because of Ranger confusion and turnovers. It's a rudderless ship, maybe they find a way to somehow extend it back to MSG Sunday. I'm surprised because they are usually a pretty resililient group.
If they lose Fri (likely) that will be Nash's last game in a Ranger jersey Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It has become clear Nash cannot hack it here in New York. Outside of a torrid month of January look at his season. Counting the playoffs if you take out January you're talking about 15 goals in 80 games. This is your top scoring winger? Jagr game more to the Devils this season at 42.
