    Re: Outdoor Bball reco's?

I'm looking to buy a new outdoor ball and just wondering what everyone would recommend. I want something close to the T-100 feelwise, but it has to be decent for outdoor play (concrete). I would also like to get one w/ the built-in pump, if those actually work. Some combination of the two would be cool.Any suggestions?

I suggest the Molten MX7 FIBA basketball. I love the feel of the ball, it's perfect. It usually costs around 30 bucks, but it's perfect for indoor and outdoor basketball. Spalding is another great name but stay away from the Infusion. The ball feels great, but the pump often gets broken inside the ball and it makes an annoying ring sound every time you dribble it. It's not worth the money in my opinion.Molten MX7:[IMG]

I got a new ball the other day, from Spalding. If you wanted to try that "new, now old" NBA ball, this one is perfect to get it. It has that composite 'plastic' feel, and it seems REAL durable for outdoor games. It's called the Spalding zi/o excel.

I ordered this Molten ball online from Amazon.com (Target & Wal-Mart don't have it), so I should get it this week.I'll follow-up on here on whether it's a good ball or not.

Got the new ball today... seems to be a decent ball based on the feel, etc. For less than $30, I'm not sure you could get a better ball.Hopefully I'll be able to try it out before the end of the week.

Gotta say I'm disappointed w/ the new ball... I've used it twice and it's flat already. Fu**er is leaking through the inflate hole.Hopefully I can get a refund or a replacement.

If I had the cash, I would've sported for the T1000 (?)... guess you get what you pay for. It's a good outdoor ball when it's inflated [IMG]

I use the Wilson Final Four Championship ball or something. I love it, but I don't know what price it would be because I found mine at a local gym. I can't find any pics on google, but I'll try looking some more.
