The NFL is scheduled to play 2 games next year in other countries. I was wondering what everyone thought about it. I know last year there was a game played in Mexico, how far is the NFL thinking of taking it? Would the games count as away games for both teams? I think that it's a bad idea, I mean teams complain about road games across the country, now they have to travel to a different country... I think it will just mess up their schedules.

i hate these kinds of ideas. it is really stupid. Unless that country is going to join the NFL as a team, we should not be playing over there. i said the same thing when the Cards/49ers played in Mexico

I think it's a good idea. And it's a good bet that both teams will have their bye weeks immediately following the game to avoid travel hangovers.

Bringing the NFL to a bigger audience only helps the league as a whole. More money means bigger salary caps, new stadiums, maybe new teams... How can that be a bad thing?

yea the NFL wants to be as popular worldwide as it is in the US... if that can happen its only good for the NFL. You know its kinda liek what the English Premier League did, they sent over Chelsea their best team and they toured and played a bunch of MLS teams around the country. some Italien and Spanish teams did that as well.

I like it. My only fear is turning the NFL into what we have in today's NHL with player's names that you can't pronounce let alone spell.

I dont believe you should play regular season games anywhere but NFL stadiums....play all the pre-season games you want all over the world, but if it counts, a team shouldnt have to give up a home game, and someone has too every time....

What about the people who paid for the season tickets? They will now lose out on games... It's the National Football League, not the International Football League. I wouldn't mind seeing them add football to the olympics, that could take the place of the Pro Bowl those years.
