Romine trying to frame those 2 pitches, brutal... Overbay has given us all he has. And he earned a contract next year with someone else, not the Yankees I hope,
Nunez Romine, overbay & Wells. I swear its like watching the 62 Mets all over again. You've got a Mo in the bullpen, & a Larry as a pitching coach. I wonder what Curly thinks about all this
Overbay has done a decent job with the bat. His play at first is frustrating. Also, he was never suppossed to be the full time guy.
ABSOLUTELY! I mean for someone who wasn't suppose to there (1st base) this much & dispite his play in the field at times I really can't complain. And if we're being honest if someone said in April that Overbay will be the everyday 1st baseman, No one would have expected the numbers he's given us to date. And since currently we have no one else to put out there, roll with it.
...no, they don't and that's part of the point...but since the Yanx have not given up on the season yet and are still trying to somehow squeak into the PS, who do you think gives them a better chance at winning, Romine or Stewart. ...if they were simply playing out the string, yeah, give Romine more looks.
Stewart is very little offense & pretty good defense. Romine is also very little offense & shity defense. So I'd have to give the nod to Stewart.
...I didn't say he was. And what he was or was not signed for has nothing to do with the fact that he plays 1B like he has tourettes.
