“I called Terrell and he was ecstatic,” Jones revealed. “He was the first person I called after I talked to Roy. As soon as Terrell heard he said, ‘Give me Roy’s number, I have to call him,’ .” <!-- / message --> <!-- sig -->
Good to hear TO is ecstatic about it. Last thing we need at this point is to have him grumbling and becoming a distraction. On a sidenote, I think a couple years ago, TO might have been against this type of a move cause it likely means less touches for him, something he would not have appreciated back then. Now that he's matured (at least somewhat), I think he can look past that.
Owens just wants to win. Actually, he pines to fit in, too. But that's irrelevant because he does fit in with Dallas (Newman, Roy, Witten, Barber, James, Romo... his friends). But he is always happy after a win, upset after a loss. Look at the camera views they showed when Folk kicked that field goal. He was having a poor day statistically, and he's smirking on the sideline, giving his cocky "nodding". He just wants to win. He realizes Williams will draw coverage away from Owens.... and that Roy will make teams pay for constantly doubling Owens. Remember how excited Owens was after Austin's coming out party in Green Bay?
