It was fuckin insane. I didn't fuck any of those gross skanks. You're not gonna find a hot chick at ozzfest believe me. Anyways the bands were fuckin awesome. System of a down and disturbed tore up the main stage. Avenged sevenfold started off the insanity and then they finished it off by blowing your mind. Atreyu was pretty good. I got some Ok pictures for a disposable camera lol.
lol my pics were horrible but once I get them developed I'll scan them in. I got a nice pic of one of dimebag darells guitars though and my friend that I went with got an awesome picture on his cell phone of the lawn area and all the smoke rising above it. There was so much smoke that it looked like there was a bonfire or something. Crazy shit. It's gay that they wont let you bring in digital cameras though. I could have gotten some awesome pics with a digital. I'll post my review of the concert in a minute.
Just got back from ozzfest in Raleigh. It was my first ozzfest. I had a shitload of fun so here goes.We got there a little late cuz we wanted lunch and didnt want to pay 10 bucks for a hot dog.We got there when BTBAM was starting. They were kinda boring so I wasn't excited to see them really. Typical screaming metal band and the crowd seemed kind of bored. I'll give them a 2 or 3/10 but I didn't see much of it.Walls of Jericho- I wasn't expecting much but when that chick started doing the screaming, I was impressed. The music wasn't all that great but mad props to the chick for having the biggest balls out of any lead singer on ozzfest. Not even close to being as hot as lacuna coils singer though.6 out of 10 just because if I gave them less that chick would strangle me in my sleep.Full Blown Chaos- We watched a few minutes of this. It sounded a lot like walls of jericho just with a fat guy instead of a chick. They started a chicken fight though which was cool and funny.5/10Bad Acid trip started playing but I went to take a piss since i've heard them and already know how bad they are. From what I heard while I was sitting on a fence/ taking a piss...2/10. Terrible band IMO.I think Norma Jean was up next not sure. It all kinda blends together. Anyways they got the crowd going a lot and some people were really excited in the mosh. I liked how they had 2 drummers. They put their all into it and got into their own music. I don't like them all that much but since they were energetic I give them a 6/10I didn't watch any of bleeding through. I only watched some of unearth. I can't really give a rating based on what I saw.Atreyu- I really liked this performance. I actually think they're better live then they are on album. They got the crowd going well and the whole band had a presence. Dan Jacobs did some nice solos and I liked their song selection. 8/10Black Label Society- Great performance. A lot of big BLS fans were there and they obviously got into it. I was there just to see Zakk and he astounded me thoroughly. Amazing show. 10/10.Next up was the main stage. We got there when Dragonforce was opening up.Dragonforce- I clearly understimated this band. They've made me a fan. The song Through the Fire and Flames was one of the best overall guitar songs I have ever heard. It was sad that there weren't a lot of people there to see this band because they were great. 9/10.Lacuna Coil- I hadn't listened to much of their stuff before so i didn't know what to expect. They were really good (the chick was hot) and the two lead singers had great harmony together. I loved the performance. The cover of the depeche mode song was great and the last song they played was awesome.9/10.Avenged Sevenfold- I've seen them before so I knew what to expect. Great performanc, good guitar work, good drumming solid singing good bass. Overall solid performance. The walk cover finally got the crowd going for one of the bands. Everyone was standing up and throwin up the horns. I don't know who the other singer who came out with them was but he was really good as well as M. Shadows on walk.9/10 :beerbang2: No hatebreed because of some family emergency.Disturbed- I've heard some of their songs and I like them. I liked their performance as well. It dragged on some but they were good showman and they REALLY got the crowd going. Awesome performance.9/10.System of a down- I've also seen them before but Holy shit. Amazing. It was funny to see that dude on the stage harry perry or whatever his name was. Amazing show and great way to cap it off. All of the songs they played were great and they got the crowd roaring.10/10. :beerbang2:
