    It has all the pieces to be a dominant conference. We just need several conferences to step up over the years and one or two doormats. Let's look over.

    Pac-12 North.

    Oregon. Needs no words.
    Stanford. Solid recruiting, and decent playing and coaching staff. Not to mention the education is a good lure to lure in recruits.
    UW. Decent offense although their defense's potential needs to be seen. With Tosh's little tactics, they can steal some good talents from any school.
    WSU. Dark horse right here. With Mike Leach, they can recruit HEAVILY in Texas. I mean, the man, besides his one stint in 2009, is a FRIGGIN LEGEND there. I mean, unseating Undefeated Texas(who was ranked #1) and with a funny and charismatic personality. He's the Steven Tyler of Football.
    California. Another possibly good team, with good recruiting, but can't seem to get the coaching right. Possible Doormat here.
    Oregon State. Is On and Off at times. Possible Doormat but can make some chaos.

    Pac-12 South.
    USC. Needs no words. Great solid recruiting and good coaching year in year out.

    UCLA. Doormat. Can't handle USC. although they can make chaos if possible.

    Utah. Second best in the conference. I love this team ALOT and I think Whittingham will be like Nick Saban, staying long at Utah and eventually, winning championships and BCS bowls. All he needs is time. I mean, he beat an Alabama Squad that tangoed with Tim Tebow's Gators. They may have been the truly best in the nation!

    Arizona. Tied with ASU for third best. Decent recruiting in Texas and California, along with Arizona, but RichRod...Eh.

    ASU. Look above, and their head coach will ditch them.

    Cololorado. Who? Oh. Doormat.

    Verdict? Pac-12 North=SEC West. Pac-12 South=SEC East. You can draw comparisons.

    Oregon=LSU
    Stanford=Alabama
    WSU= Arkansas
    Washington=Mississippi State
    California=Auburn
    Oregon State= Ole Miss.

    USC=Georgia
    Utah=Florida(See the comparison? Both colleges had Urban Meyer)
    Arizona=SCAR
    Colorado=Kentucky
    ASU=Tennessee
    UCLA=Vanderbilt.

    Agree?

    Disagree.

    Right now the SEC has more talent for their top tier teams. They are masters of paying players and cheating and the NCAA is loathe to do anything about it as that's the gravy conference. If the above teams player each other I think the PAC 12 wins 5 at best.

    The SEC is far and away the most dominant football conference in the country. It's not close enough, nor will be close enough in the next 10 years to make this type of comparison

    10 years may be stretching it a bit. USC is having a hell of a recruiting class and UO will pick up steam as well. Also, UW and I think the AZ schools are going to get better pretty soon.
