Indiana has been attempting to deal Croshere soon after they gave him a lucrative contract following his great performance in The Finals several years ago against the Lakers.</div>

Good news. We now will not have to worry about him coming here and us attaining his big contract. We (fans) can now limit our thoughts on the players on the market that might make a visit to Philadelphia to Shareef Abdur-Raheem, and Antoine Walker.

Thank god I didnt want croshere here and am glad he is probable not coming now since the pacers are denying it. He was a below average with a above average contract. He didnt deserve that much money and would have been a huge cap trouble for the team if he came here. Unlike shareef who's contract ends after next year and I believe so does walkers end soon.

Though from what I understand from That NBA Girl the sixers probable wont sign walker do to the mavs wanting dalembert and us not willing to give him up. So our only real option now is to try and get shareef I do think we may end up coming back to walker in a few days or so if the mavs lower there trade request, but from what I understand new york is were he wants tobe and will go.

The team as it is right now is still pretty decent weather we make another big signing or not we will have a hell of a year. I just hope we dont ruin the team by getting some guy who is a bust with a huge contract or trading one of our young guys to another eastern conference team.

^^^ Ya man Croshere I agree Crosher is past his prime(10 PPG years and against Lakers in finals) His contract is big and the last thing we need is another big contract. I dont really care much for Walker his best days are behind him. I would try and pursue Shareef if I was the Sixers GM. That guy is such a underrated player. He deserves to start too. If I were the Blazers GM I would be looking to trade him also. I would try and focus on D-Miles tho. The Blazers have a good backcourt with Theo, Rudolph, and D-Miles(if they re-sign him) So i believe we should give them Glenn and Greg Buckner for Shareef. It would be a good trade for us. I would offer the Blazers this first though.

Ya I would also want Sammy to start for us. I hope he does. He is much better and has so much potetnial to unlock. They should start him over Marc or Skinner.

No he didn't, he said "Not likely" that he will be coming here. The NBA is a business first and foremost, some things could get worked out, cash could be thrown in, something, it's a bribery.

lol, I think I remember being there and hearing what JO said. He said alot of stuff and in the end it came out as Antoine will 98% not be a Sixer.

He also made a comment on how the Sixers really don't want to even sign him based on his 1 year contract or something like that.

Just remember coaches and GMs say a lot of things "on the record". Then later they spring something on you and explain why they had to say that. It is all a game. You cannot believe anything until it happens.

I dont no how much credit you can really give to coaches and GM's these days. Considering waler said he was 90% sure he would be a knick next season and now JO says there is a 98% chance he wont be were did the extra 8% come from.

IMO people involved in the orginization that say they are not perssuing a player that they obviously have been are less creadable then sales people look at the rangers with a-rod they printed out a whole season ticket plan with a-rod on the media guides then they trade him to the yanks.

Any trade is possible at this point in the off season. The mavs dont want walker on the team and if the knicks aquire crawford in a trade with chicago what will they have left to get walker? The mavs may lower there demands just to get walker off the team since he is a bad attitude for them.

Right now anything can happen you never know a guy could deny something one day and the next day recieve a call saying we have lowered our request for a trade if you are still intrested. Though I am not sure if walker will be a sixer next year it is possible.

Same here. Though, I'm just gonna go by what coach said on that one.

Well, I went by what you quoted in your own thread about your trip. Nothing more, nothing less. The fact is what PS said there are three teams involved in this right now, one team is seeking two players but can offer good money to only one. The move they will most likely make is to get Crawford, much younger, and much more promising. Leaving us to seek Walker, who has had a good on-court realtionship with Jim and who fits into his playing style well.
