Re: Pacers' Granger taken to hospital after fall <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>INDIANAPOLIS -- Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger was taken to a hospital for X-rays after he fell to the floor in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. The nature of his injury was not immediately known. The Pacers said he was awake and responsive and was able to move his arms and legs."I just saw that he missed a tip and saw him in a heap on the floor," Pacers coach Rick Carslise said."We're hopeful it's nothing serious," he said. "He was able to respond and answer questions. We're going to have to cross our fingers and hope he's OK."Granger, who scored nine points, hit the floor with 4:38 left in the quarter. He lay face-down for several minutes while medical personnel attended to him. Finally, a stretcher was brought out and he was wheeled off the court.Granger, a former University of New Mexico standout, was the 17th pick in the NBA draft in 2005. He finished at UNM that year by leading the Lobobs to the NCAA Tournament.</div>http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2762381Well its good to hear that he isnt injured like T.J. Ford was after he took a fall in a game a few years ago. I always get worried when players fall like this, esp. after seeing the Ford injury.
Re: Pacers' Granger taken to hospital after fall I saw this on ESPNews a while ago. Hope the kid is alright, he's gonna be a solid player.
Re: Pacers' Granger taken to hospital after fall Yeah, I hope he's alright. He isa fine player. I hope it isn't too serious. What type of an injury was it?
Re: Pacers' Granger taken to hospital after fall Wow I sure hope he is fine. He is a promising young player. If you go to the link in pjcolpits post it now says Granger is day to day with a sore neck, so it doesn't sound like it is too serious.
Re: Pacers' Granger taken to hospital after fall Not good news for the Pacers he has really stepped up as the number 2 scoring option behind O'Neal since the trade and he is too valuable for them to lose for a long period of time.
Re: Pacers' Granger taken to hospital after fall Lol. No. Granger is not our second option. He rarely gets plays run for him. His scoring is kind of like Tayashun Prince's: he picks up for struggling teamates. Right now, the Pacers don't have a clear second option.
