Wright, a 6-foot-2 point guard from Georgia, was the 59th pick overall in the June draft. He averaged 14.4 points and three assists for the Bulldogs last year, but was known more for his defense. Wright was chosen SEC defensive player of the year after leading the conference with 2.6 steals a game. Edwards, a 7-foot, 275-pound center from Kent State, will provide depth to the Pacers' frontcourt. He averaged 13.2 points and 6.7 rebounds a game last season and led the Mid-American Conference in blocked shots.</div> <div align="center">Link</div>
Wright should be a good/decent replacement for the loss of Brewer, but this wont have a big effect on the team.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Buckets:</div><div class="quote_post">Wright should be a good/decent replacement for the loss of Brewer, but this wont have a big effect on the team.</div> It should. Hopefully, Wright will play ahead of Eddie Gill as our 3rd string Point Guard. With Jamaal Tinsley as our starting Point Guard, we definately need more defense.
