Question: do you think it's better if Baron starts tonight or not? I want him back but the team is playing so well right now and if Baron is still hurting I wonder if it's a good idea that he try to play. Not only may he be less than 100% and hurt the team, but he may reinjure something and be out for even longer. I'm not sure how I'd answer the question myself, just wondering what you all thought. EDIT: Adding broadcast info: television FSN Bay NBA LP radio KNBR 680
It depends. Is Monta going to struggle again? And what if Barnes and Dunleavy go back to their usual role playing selves? Last game they were the playmakers. Plus, we need Richardson and Biedrins to go off again. If Biedrins can get it done inside, then we just need some outside scorers. Our usual problem happens when there's nobody inside and the ball doesn't move around except on the outside. So we need dribble penetration to create inside scoring. But that usually results in the paint being crowded and long shots made off of kickouts.
I want Baron if he's healthy. He'll jive with the others. He was playing well before. The Pacers are so-so this year, actually less than so-so. Warriors need to push the pace and make the Pacers play fast. They, like almost everyone else, are on the back end of a back to back and the Warriors could kill their enthusiasm if they run them off the court early. Warriors don't want a game in the 80s.
According to KNBR Baron is playing so hopefully hes 100%. I can't imagine the team rushing him back for a game against the Pacers after we just beat the Spurs and Jazz so he must be around 100%. I think he'll start but if we can maintain a comfortable lead without him in the game he'll sit so that he won't re aggravate whatever he has injured now.
Baron must be a fast healer or he didn't get hit that hard. Ribs are pretty sensitive, but it is possible to play through the pain. The injury might also stiffen up his back muscle because the rib connects there.

Andris vs. Jermaine...Good matchup! This is a home game vs. the Eastern Confrence: The Warriors must win this game.
Wow, I feel like the Warriors are playing terrible, yet it's only a 2 point deficit...weird. Not that I'm complaining. Looks like Monta is on tonight, could be a big game for him. Andris seems a little flat.

Warriors gave up a 5 pt lead. I have not watched the game because I was busy studying for finals, but what a move by Ellis on Granger with the spin! Time for the Warriors to show them who is boss!
This is why Baron Davis should be the go to guy down the stretch. Props to Monta for his points. Baron is 1 ast/reb from a triple double...
Groan... the refs screwed us on the goaltending we didn't get... Also Pietrus is still an idiot in the halfcourt even though he's more effective on offensive rebounding and blocking shots than most of our big men. BTW Murphy got 3 blocks? How the hell did that happen?
Nice 3pt shooting by the Pacers. We gave it to them and they made them. Dont blame the refs. They probably missed some calls in our favor, although I think they really screwed up on the Dunleavy foul with the shot clock running down...

I dont remember the warriors getting free goaltend and easy layup. How about Pietrus giving away the inbound play? 4th quarter guys cant being doing that crap.
