haha well that is what baffles me about the final cuts but Lenon has been playing great through training camp and preseason so he obviously beat out Thompson. That made Thompson's spot less value with all the younger talent. Bates did say that every spot was up for grabs.

Look on the bright side. The greatest thing they've ever done has happen. Cledius Hunt was CUT. That makes this day a good day if your a Packer fan.

What a wonderful trade we made. Chirs Johnson has been an injury prone 6th rounder and we get LB Robert Thomas. I did not know that. I assume he'll start at LB ounce he learns the system. He is a former 1st round pick and has some talent.

    GOOD TRADE!!

Well they play different postions. Horton was the clear cut 5th best CB with no really big prospect standing in his way.

Where as Thompson probably would loose his starting job when Diggs comes back and we have Roy Manning and Brady Poppinaga who are both great rookie prospects who are worth a roster spot.

Hunt was supposed to be a stud but he never put any effort into his play once he got his big pay day, Im glad we cut his insubordant lazy ass.

Hunt couldn't hold Simons jock. He had one good year then he got his big contract and then he figured he could do everything the easy way.

He skipped workouts and minicamps every year. He didn't stay in contact with the team. He was always hurt. Not injured. HURT!

This is almost a relief for Packer fans. That was a great move by TT. He and Joe Johnson are the worst contract signings in Packer History.

But I thought Ray Thompson was doing well and would of started for us. I am not to sure about Paris Lenon starting. Bates must of saw something in this Robert Thomas kid we got in the trade otherwise Ray Thompson would still be around.

I'm disappointed that they cut Thompson. I, too, think they could have given him Horton's roster spot. But hey...what do I know?

I like the trade with the Rams. They also shipped Morley to the Jets for a conditional pick. I'll be surprised if they even get a seventh rounder out of that deal. We'll see...

I did a cartwheel when I heard that we cut Hunt. It's about time...

The Johnson for Morris trade was a good one, however with Diggs still injured I think holding onto Thompson and using Mark Roman as the 5th Corner would have been much better.
