This was the worse preseason game I've watched in along time out of the Pack. The opening kickoff was returned to about mid field and that setup a Dillon run. Favre threw 2 INT's and Rodger threw one as well. Green fumbled one time. I think the Pats got 13 points off of turnovers. The Packers defense had it's bright spots but just started to play awful after awhile. They went 14 minutes without giving up a first down and then allowed 2 TD's in 5 minutes. It was a sad sight to see the offense. Couldn't get a running game. The longest play the first half was a 13 yard run by Favre. I was happy to see Chris Johnson make a nice play but it was a right place at the right time type of thing. I prayed for Chatman but it looks like he'll be alright. Can't say I was happy with anyone on the o-line and penalties were all over the field. Even Clifton and Flanigan made mistakes. I would of said Whittaker might of lost his job but no one stepped up either. Davenport had some nice runs. NE caught some breaks late with a couple should of been called penalties but I mean like it mattered. They took the Pack to school for this preseason game. KGB did get a sack and we did recover a fumble. Thats about the only good thing I can really say. Overally I hope we can finish strong on Thursday against the Titans. 1 more note. We did get to see a lot of BJ Sander. To much of BJ Sander.
Yeah, unfortunately the Packers/Patriots game was the equivalent of a bag of flaming poo on your front porch on Halloween as far as birthday presents go. *sigh* Hopefully it will serve as a learning experience for the Special Teams and Offensive mistakes.... One can only hope.
Terrible game all around, but hey its Preseason remeber how bad we got womped by the Seabirds las year?
